Getting to
The Port of Toronto, one of Canada's largest major inland ports, is situated on the northwest shore of Lake Ontario.
The Port maintains an important position within the Great Lakes system and is just 48 km from Port Weller at the entrance to the Welland Canal leading to Lake Erie.
Toronto's fine protected harbour is roughly 3 km long and 1.5 km and is sheltered by a string of offshore islands.
